US Department of Agriculture opens $3.8M in funding for Arkansas Technical Assistance Projects Supporting IRA Implementation

Opportunity: FY 2024 Arkansas Technical Assistance projects, supporting Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Implementation
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Arkansas Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) State Office is seeking support from and opportunities to partner with likeminded natural resource conservation partners. The intent of this solicitation is to solicit partnerships to provide technical services to support implementation of NRCS authorities under the IRA that address key conservation objectives:
Development and implementation of outreach/communications/marketing strategies to educate the public, specifically agriculture producers, on benefits of Climate Smart practices.
Development and implementation of outreach/communications/marketing strategies aimed at attracting new customers to NRCS.
“Boots on the ground” staff capacity that supports planning, design, implementation or management of conservation plans/contracts funded through IRA.
Data/information documenting the GHG reduction potential of specific conservation practices such as: Irrigation Storage Reservoirs and Irrigation Tailwater Recovery Systems
On site monitoring of GHG emission reductions on operations with implemented conservation practices.
Amount: The agency expects to make fifteen awards between $25K and $3M, for a total funding amount of $3.8M.

Key Dates: Applications must be submitted by 11:59PM ET on April 1, 2024.
