NOAA Opens Up To $160M for Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund

Opportunity: Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund
Overview and Eligible Uses: The program aims to restore Pacific salmon populations. This opportunity funds projects and activities that conserve endangered or threatened salmon and steelhead populations (including for tribal treaty fishing rights and native subsistence fishing) and provides funds for habitat conservation.
Funding comes from IIJA and the FY 22 and FY 23 appropriations acts. IIJA provided $172M for the Pacific Costal Salmon Recovery Fund.
Amount: NOAA expects to award $50M to $160M under this NOFO. The maximum award size is $30M. There is no minimum award amount. NOAA anticipates making 25 awards.

Eligible Applicants: States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Alaska, and Federally-recognized tribes of the Columbia River and Pacific Coast
