Overview and Eligible Uses: The Ride and Drive Electric opportunity aims to advance electric vehicle (EV) charging reliability, resiliency, equity, and workforce development.
There are several topic areas under this FOA:
Enhancing EV charging resiliency
Community-driven models for EV charging deployment
Workforce development
Increasing commercial capacity for testing and certification of high-power EV chargers
Validating public EV charging infrastructure real-world performance and reliability
Awards made under this FOA are funded by IIJA.
Amount: A total of $51M is available under this FOA, with award sizes vary by topic area and range between $250k and $4M
Award Type: Cooperative agreemeents
Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants include domestic institutions of higher education; for-profit and nonprofit entitiees; and state, local, and Tribal governmental entities
Key Dates: Concept papers are due June 16, 2023. Full applications are due August 25, 2023
