FTA announces $1.5B joint NOFO for Low- or No-Emission Grant Program and Buses and Bus Facilities Program

Opportunity: Low-or No-Emissions (Low-No) Program and Buses and Bus Facilities Program
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Low-No Program funds the purchase or lease of zero- and low-emission transit buses, and the acquisition, construction, and lease of supporting facilities.
The Buses and Bus Facility Program supports capital projects to “replace, rehabilitate, purchase, or lease buses” and related equipment/facilities.
Applicants may apply to one or both programs.
Amount: $1.5B total, including $1.1B for the Low-No Program and $390M for the Buses and Bus Facility Program. The maximum award size for the Buses and Bus Facilities Program and for joint program applications is 10% of total Bus Program funding amount

Eligible Applicants: Direct or designated FTA grant recipients; states (including territories and Washington, DC); local governmental authorities; and Indian Tribes
