FAA Opens $269M Supplemental Discretionary Airport Improvement Grants

Opportunity: FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) - FY 2023 Supplemental Discretionary Grants
Overview and Eligible Uses: The AIP supports projects at public-use airports that promote the goals of safety; equity; climate and sustainability; and workforce development, job quality, and wealth creation.
Priority project areas under this supplemental NOFO include airfield operational resiliency (AOR); sustainable aviation fuel (SAF); and emissions and energy improvements.
Amount: A total of $269M is available, with $236M for medium and large hub airports and $33M for small hub, nonhub, and nonprimary airports. FAA anticipates making at least 50 awards of up to $20M each for medium and large hub airports or $1.5M each for small hub, nonhub, and nonprimary airports.
