DOT Updates Future 2022 NOFO Dates
Most dates are still tentative, and the Department's updated list is not comprehensive.
The Department of Transportation recently updated its list of upcoming funding opportunities in 2022 and the timelines by which it anticipates releasing Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs). However, the DOT acknowledges that this list is not comprehensive and is subject to change. This tracker will continue to send updates within 72 hours (at most!) of the release of any of those NOFOs with critical information including deadlines, eligible projects and applicants, and other commentary. This tracker will also release similar information for any other grant programs (outside DOT) authorized under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The DOT’s new timeline can be found on the Department’s website. Upcoming opportunities in 2022 include the following:
July 2022:
All Stations Accessibility Program (FTA)
Rail Vehicle Replacement Program (FTA)
“Summer:” (DOT has separate programs listed for “summer” and for “July” and “August”)
Thriving Communities (Office of the Secretary)
National Culvert Removal, Replacement, and Restoration Grant Program (FHA)
August:
Consolidated Rail Infrastructure & Safety Improvements Grant Program (Office of the Secretary)
September:
Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) Grant Program (Office of the Secretary)
October:

December:

This tracker will continue to send updates when new funding opportunities are announced.
