Opportunity: DOE Domestic Manufacturing Conversion Grants
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Domestic Manufacturing Conversion Grants program aims to expand domestic capacity for clean vehicle production and components. The program provides grants to support the conversion of facilities involved in assembling internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and manufacturing ICE components to assemble and supply clean vehicles, including efficient hybrid, plug-in electric hybrid, plug-in electric drive, or hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
Amount: A total of $2B is being made available under this opportunity, with 9-15 awards anticipated.
Large dollar awards: 2-4 awards of $250M-$500M each
Medium dollar awards: 3-5 awards of $100M-$249M each
Small dollar awards: 4-6 awards of $25M-$99M each
