Opportunity: Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Plant Conservation and Restoration Management program
Overview and Eligible Uses: BLM Utah’s Plant Conservation and Restoration Program aims to protect biodiversity, increase resilience to climate change, conserve land and water, enhance economic opportunity for disadvantaged communities, and support science- and data-informed decisionmaking. Goals for this funding opportunity include developing genetically appropriate seed and plant material for habitat restoration; implementing and assessing seed-based restoration efforts; and inventorying, monitoring, and restoring rare plant species and associated communities.
Amount: A total of $1.5M is available. 10 awards are anticipated, ranging from $10k to $600k
Award Type: Cooperative agreements
Eligible Applicants: A wide range of applicant types are eligible, including state, county, local, tribal, and special purpose governments; nonprofits; school districts; housing authorities; and higher education institutions
