Bureau of Land Management Opens NOFO for Oregon/Washington Recreation and Visitor Services

Opportunity: IIJA Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Oregon/Washington Recreation and Visitor Services
Overview and Eligible Uses: The BLM’s Recreation and Visitor Services Program oversees a broad and complex set of recreation related programs, which provide a multitude of recreation opportunities and experiences. These recreation resources and visitor services support strong local economies and public land conservation.
This opportunity provides funding for a range of program-related activities, including visitor experience services, increased BLM land access, recreation management, facility inventory and assessment, stakeholder engagement and trail improvement.
IIJA authorized more than $2B for a range of ecosystem restoration activities.
Amount: The minimum award size is $10,000 and the maximum award size is $350,000. The actual number of awards will depend on the number of meritorious applications and the availability of appropriated funds. Awards will be based out of district or field offices where the project occurs.
Award Type: Cooperative agreement
Eligible Applicants: A wide range of applicant types are eligible to apply, including states, municipal and county governments, Tribes, special purpose governments, institutions of higher learning, nonprofits, and others. Individuals and For-Profit Organizations are ineligible to apply for awards under this NOFO.
