Opportunity: FY25 IIJA/IRA Bureau of Land Management Colorado Fuels Management and Community Fire Assistance
Overview and Eligible Uses: The program aims to enhance wildfire resilience through fuels management on federal and non-federal lands while fostering community engagement. Key goals include developing and implementing fire education and training programs, conducting Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) and wildfire assessments, and expanding local employment opportunities. The program also emphasizes creating and maintaining short- and long-term monitoring plans to ensure the effectiveness of hazardous fuels reduction and community action initiatives.
Amount: DOI Bureau of Land Management anticipates awarding up to $999,000 for 20 awards, ranging from $10,000 to $999,000 each.
