Opportunity: Bureau of Land Management New Mexico Invasive and Noxious Plant Management
Overview and Eligible Uses: BLM New Mexico Invasive and Noxious Plant Management Programs work to prevent, detect, inventory, control, and monitor weed populations on public lands. BLM New Mexico has an opportunity to work with partner organizations to collaboratively manage and coordinate treatments, inventories, monitoring, education and outreach, and prevention activities to control new infestations and treatment to remove existing infestations of noxious weeds and invasive species to gain efficiencies across multiple jurisdictions.
This program supports projects funded by BIL and IRA.
Amount: 5 awards, ranging from $50k to $1M
Award Type: Cooperative Agreement
Eligible Applicants:
State, Special District, County, Native American tribal, City, or township governments.
Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities.
Independent school districts.
Private or Public and State controlled institutions of higher education.
Native American tribal organizations.
Nonprofits.
*Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply.
