Opportunity: FY24 IIJA/IRA Department of the Interior - Bureau of Land Management Nevada (NV) Invasive and Noxious Plant Management
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Bureau of Land Management Nevada Invasive and Noxious Plant Management Programs work to prevent, detect, inventory, control, and monitor weed populations on public lands. The Bureau of Land Management Nevada is looking for partners to collaboratively manage and coordinate treatments, inventories, monitoring, education and outreach, and prevention activities to control new infestations and treatment to remove existing infestations of noxious weeds and invasive species to gain efficiencies across multiple jurisdictions.
The program supports projects funded by BIL and IRA.
Amount: The estimated total program funding is $2,250,000. The award ceiling is $2,000,000 and the award floor is $250,000.
Award Type: Cooperative agreement
Eligible Applicants:
State, Special District, County, Native American tribal, City, or township governments.
Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities.
Independent school districts.
Private or Public and State controlled institutions of higher education.
Native American tribal organizations.
Nonprofits.
*Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply.
