Overview and Eligible Uses: BLM National Interagency Fire Center has an opportunity to work with partner organizations to assist with fuels management and community fire assistance program activities to reduce the risk and impact of catastrophic wildfires to local communities through coordination, reducing the amount of hazardous fuels, and furthering the education of landowners about wildfire prevention and mitigation.
Amount: Total funding of $550k is anticipated across 3 awards, ranging from $100k to $550k
Award Type: Cooperative agreement

State, county, city, or township governments
Federally and non-Federally recognized Native American tribal organizations.
Private, public, and State controlled institutions of higher education
Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
Independent school districts
Public housing authorities/Native American housing authorities
