Opportunity: FY24 IIJA/IRA Bureau of Land Management Headquarters (HQ) Threatened and Endangered Species Program
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Bureau of Land Management (Bureau) HQ Threatened and Endangered Species Program works to conserve and recover federally-listed and Bureau sensitive animal and plant species and their habitat on public lands. The office is looking for projects that provide a programmatic approach for improving the Bureau effectiveness or efficiency. The program is also looking for projects that will result in or facilitate national implementation or outreach of tangible on the ground actions that will improve species populations (numbers, representation, or resilience) or reduce population level threats.
Amount: Total amount of funding of $500k. The award floor is $10k. The award ceiling is $250k.
Award Type: Cooperative Agreement
Eligible Applicants:
State, county, city, or township governments
Federally and non-Federally recognized Native American tribal organizations.
Private, public, and State controlled institutions of higher education
Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
Independent school districts
Public housing authorities/Native American housing authorities
Special district governments
Key Dates: Applications are due January 19, 2024 at 5 p.m. ET
