Opportunity: FY23 IIJA Bureau of Land Management Headquarters (HQ) Youth and Conservation Corps.
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Bureau of Land Management Headquarters (HQ) offices have collaborated with Qualified Youth and Conservation Corps, as authorized by the Public Lands Corps Act (PLC), to accomplish conservation projects for numerous years. Proposed projects within this funding opportunity notice will support the Civilian Climate Corps (CCC) and the Indian Youth Service Corps (IYSC) initiatives. These initiatives will offer an opportunity to address climate change and address racial inequity by providing training opportunities for young people of color and others from historically disenfranchised communities.
This program supports projects funded by BIL and IRA.
Amount: $1M in total funding is anticipated for 10 awards, ranging from $1k to $100k per award.

State, Special District, County, Native American tribal, City, or township governments.
Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities.
Independent school districts.
Private or Public and State controlled institutions of higher education.
Native American tribal organizations.
Nonprofits.
*Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply.
