Opportunity: Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Youth and Conservation Corps - California and Nevada
Overview and Eligible Uses: This program provides employment to participants, exposes them to public service careers, and enhances and maintains public lands. Projects funded under this program aim to engage participants in the preservation, maintenance, and enhancement of public lands.
Amount: Amounts vary by state.
California: $1M is available for awards; award sizes range between $20k and $80k. 10 awards are anticipated.
Nevada: $870k is available for awards; award size range between $10k and $350k. 5 awards are anticipated.
Award Type: Cooperative agreement
Eligible Applicants: A range of applicant types are eligible. These include state, local, and tribal governments; institutions of higher learning, and nonprofit organizations.
Key Dates: Applications are due April 24, 2023.
