Bureau of Land Management California Opens $2.25M for Two Programs

Opportunity: FY25 IIJA/IRA Bureau of Land Management California: Plant Conservation and Restoration Management & Aquatic Resource Management programs
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Plant Conservation and Restoration Management program supports a range of activities to reduce threats to sensitive species, restore and rehabilitate habitats, improve conservation efforts, restore native plants, and others.
The Aquatic Resource Management program aims to protect and restore “riparian and wetland areas, aquatic habitats, and water resources to provide functioning ecosystems for a combination of balanced and diverse uses including fish and wildlife, and for the long-term needs of future generations”
Amount: A total of $2,250,000 is available across the two programs, including $2,000,000 for Plant Conservation and Restoration Management and $225,000 for Aquatic Resource Management.
Award Type: Cooperative Agreement
Eligible Applicants:
Tribal organizations,
Tribal governments,
Higher education institutions,
Local and special district governments, state governments, and
Nonprofits.
