Overview and Eligible Uses: The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Alaska Aquatic Resources Program is offering this NOFO focused on safeguarding and reviving riparian and wetland areas, aquatic habitats, and water resources. This initiative is designed to support wildlife preservation and sustained utilization for future generations to ensure the functionality of ecosystems while aligning with the principles of multiple use and sustained yield land management. Eligible activities include inventorying, protecting, and restoring aquatic resources, ensuring water sustainability, complying with environmental regulations, fostering collaboration, addressing climate change impacts, preventing invasive species, and promoting public awareness, particularly among marginalized communities.
Amount: $500,000 - with an award ceiling of $480,000.
