BLM Utah Opens $50K for Cultural and Paleontological Resource Management

Opportunity: IIJA Bureau of Land Management Utah Cultural and Paleontological Resource Management
Overview and Eligible Uses: BLM (State) manages archaeological and historic sites, artifact collections, places of traditional cultural importance to Native Americans and other communities, and paleontological resources that occur on federal lands in the state of Utah. Broadly, the objective is to develop partnerships to improve access to, and use of, heritage resources, and promote their educational, scientific, cultural, and recreational values in a manner that meets U.S. Department of the Interior priorities and Cultural Heritage and Paleontology Program goals.
Amount: $50,000 total; three awards are anticipated, worth between $10,000 and $18,000.

State, county, city, or township governments
Federally and non-Federally recognized Native American tribal organizations.
Private, public, and State controlled institutions of higher education
Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
Independent school districts
Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
Special district governments
