Overview and Eligible Uses:
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking applicants to advance its Oregon/Washington (OR/WA) Threatened and Endangered Species Program by focusing on any of the following strategic goals:
Conserving and recovering federally-listed and Bureau Sensitive Species;
Implementing recovery actions that result in a direct on the ground population or conservation benefit
Providing complete, current and accurate information on the distribution and abundance of BLM Special Status Species and their habitats to increase professional and public knowledge and understanding of these resources;
Collecting data and other information to assess threats and species/habitat responses to proactive conservation and recovery efforts for BLM Special Status Species.
Increasing public knowledge of BLM Special Status Species;
Increasing public awareness and understanding of BLM Special Status species and their habitats on public and private lands; and, Engaging youth, citizen-scientists, and students in monitoring and directed research of various BLM Special Status species and their habitats.
Amount: Individual awards will be for $5K to $500K

Eligible Applicants: State, County, Local, Native American tribal, and special district governments; Independent school districts; Public/Private Institutions of higher education; Public/ Indian housing authorities, Native American tribal organizations; and Nonprofits
Key Dates:
Round One Applications are due February 13 30, 2022
Round Two Applications are due March 15, 2023
Final Round Applications are due April 14, 2023
