Overview and Eligible Uses: BLM Cultural Heritage and Paleontology Programs coordinate management, preservation, education, outreach efforts, economic opportunities, and public uses of a fragile, nonrenewable scientific record that represents an important component of America’s heritage. These programs seek to establish partnerships to improve access to and use of heritage resources and promote their educational, scientific, cultural, and recreational values in a manner that meets U.S. Department of the Interior priorities and Cultural Heritage and Paleontology Program goals.
The program supports projects funded by BIL and IRA.
Amount: $525K is being made available under this opportunity. Award sizes range from $25k to $500k, and a total of 2 awards are anticipated.

Eligible Applicants:
State, Special District, County, Native American tribal, City, or township governments.
Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities.
Independent school districts.
Private or Public and State controlled institutions of higher education.
Native American tribal organizations.
Nonprofits.
*Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible to apply.
