BLM Colorado opens $300K for Good Neighbor Authority Project

Opportunity: IIJA Department of the Interior - Bureau of Land Management Colorado Good Neighbor Authority
Overview and Eligible Uses: The Good Neighbor Authority (GNA) allows partnerships with states, counties, and tribes to restore forests, rangelands, and watersheds.
Projects eligible for GNA funding include treating noxious weeds and invasive species, fuels management to protect communities, community assistance for mutual benefit, forest and rangeland management, wildlife habitat connectivity, NEPA assistance, riparian restoration, and targeted grazing using livestock for vegetation management.
These projects often require coordination with other agencies or entities and may be carried out across multiple ownerships. GNA allows partnerships with states, counties, and federally recognized Indian tribes to plan and implement these projects on Federal, non-Federal, and Indian lands.
Amount: Four awards totaling $300K are anticipated, with individual awards ranging from $5K to $100K.
