Opportunity: Bureau of Land Management IIJA Alaska Hazardous Fuels Management and Community Fire Assistance Program
Overview and Eligible Uses: BLM Alaska has an opportunity to work with partner organizations to assist with fuels management and community fire assistance program activities to reduce the risk and impact of catastrophic wildfires to local communities through coordination, reducing the amount of hazardous fuels, and furthering the education of landowners about wildfire prevention and mitigation.
Amount: $1.5M total; eight awards are anticipated, worth between $5,000 and $750,000.

Federally and non-Federally recognized Native American tribal organizations.
Private, public, and State controlled institutions of higher education
Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
